There are four services, and they follow the order a launch should follow. Test the market, then set up the company, then build the presence customers will find, then run the opening campaign. You can enter at any point, but skipping an earlier step usually costs more later than it saves now.
-
Launch plan and market check
Find out who will buy, in which part of Burnaby, at what price, before you sign a lease or order a logo.
-
Pre-launch setup roadmap
One dated sequence for name, registration, City licence, accounts and tools, with every official step linked and owned by you.
-
Launch website and Google listing
A small, fast website and a verified Google Business Profile ready on opening day, not three months after it.
-
Opening campaign: the first 100 days
A written, budgeted plan that turns an unknown name into its first paying customers and a habit of measuring them.
Launch plan and market check
Choose this if you have an idea and a rough location but no proof that people will pay. It answers the questions a bank, a landlord or a partner will ask you anyway: who exactly buys, how many of them live or work within reach of your location, what they pay competitors now and what price keeps you alive.
A typical sign you need it: you are about to sign a lease or spend on branding, and your evidence is mostly enthusiasm from friends. The output is a short written plan and a go, adjust or stop recommendation. Full details are on the launch plan page.
Pre-launch setup roadmap
Choose this if the idea is settled and you now face the paperwork and tool decisions. We put name screening, the BC name request, registration, the City of Burnaby business licence, the business bank account, GST timing questions for your accountant, insurance, phone numbers and software into one dated list.
Every government step is linked to the official page, and every professional question is flagged for the right professional. We don't give legal or tax advice, and we don't file anything for you. What we prevent is the common, costly ordering error, like printing signs before the name is approved. See the setup roadmap page.
Launch website and Google listing
Choose this if your opening date is set and nobody can find you online yet. We build a small, fast website and help you set up and verify a Google Business Profile, so that the first person who hears about you and searches can call, text or email you within seconds.
The trap here is building too much. A new company needs five or six good pages, not thirty, and it needs the right ones: what you do, who for, where in Burnaby, what it costs or how pricing works, and how to reach you. The launch website page explains the scope.
Opening campaign: the first 100 days
Choose this when you are open, or within a few weeks of opening, and need customers rather than plans. We write a 100-day campaign with a spending ceiling worked out from what a customer is worth to you, then run or coach it week by week.
For a storefront near a Town Centre that might mean local search, a launch offer and neighbourhood partnerships. For a B2B firm in Big Bend or Discovery Parks it is more likely a target list and direct outreach. The opening campaign page shows what is included and how we measure it.
How to choose in two minutes
Ask yourself three questions in order:
- Do I have evidence that strangers will pay my price? If not, start with the market check.
- Do I know every setup step and its order? If not, take the roadmap.
- Can a customer find, trust and contact me today? If not, build the website and listing, then run the campaign.
If you are unsure, the free 30-minute consultation is meant for exactly this question. You can see prices on the pricing page, read how launches have gone for others on the results page, or start with the free step-by-step launch sequence guide.
What none of the services include
To keep expectations clear: we don't provide legal, accounting, tax, immigration, engineering or inspection services, and we don't apply for permits. We also don't promise a number of customers by a date. We promise a written plan, honest measurement and a straight answer when something isn't working.
Frequently asked questions
Do I need all four services?
No. Many founders only need one. If you have customers lined up already, the roadmap and website may be enough. If you are unsure anyone will pay, start with the market check and stop there if the answer is no.
Can I buy a service by the hour instead of as a project?
Yes. Hourly consulting starts at $175 an hour plus GST and suits founders who want a second opinion on a plan they have mostly written themselves.
Do you file registrations or licence applications for me?
No. You file with BC Registries, the City of Burnaby and the CRA yourself, or through a lawyer or accountant. We prepare the order and the checklist so nothing is missed or done out of sequence.
Which service is usually the biggest?
The opening campaign, because it runs for about 100 days and includes ongoing work. A market check is the smallest and quickest.
